If you are looking for the perfect Valentine’s Day setting look no further. LeSi Singing Waiter restaurant is the place for you. Located at the Casa Toscana Lodge boutique hotel, this is the perfect romantic getaway. If you are not fortunate enough to secure a table on the festival of love, I would recommend joining for date night. I would even go as far as to suggest checking in to their luxurious 4-star accommodation.
Upon arrival, we are met by Steve, one of the singing waiters who shows us to our romantically decorated private gazebo. With fairy lights and strewn rose petals, one cannot help but want to cuddle up and get cozy.

From the extensive wine list, I select a Nederburg Baronne, it is an easy-drinking and enjoyable wine. Everything on the menu looks amazing, but I cannot resist the Escargot with Mozzarella as a starter and Amanda the Butternut soup.

One of the highlights on the entertainment side is “Die Blou Hond”. I was fortunate enough to have experienced them a few years ago when the brand was still owned by Philip Moolman and Susan Coetzer. I vividly remember Philip’s motto, “Do what you can with what you have where you are”. That has stuck with me, and I often use it in my personal life.
In between performances, Steve checks in on us and takes our mains order. For me the blue cheese, bacon, and fig beef fillet, medium rare of course. And for the missus the Thai chicken and prawn curry. The food is delicious, the hearty portions have a homemade flavour to them.

Normally we do not do sweet desserts, but this evening we make an exception. 1 Passion fruit and raspberry Panna Cotta and 1 velvet chocolate mousse tartlet.

After a wonderful evening, we are all starry-eyed and satisfied. Baie dankie en goeie nag, sien julle weer binnekort.
